Biblical scholar, creator of the first Simchat Hochmah ceremony, founder of Sarah's Tent, and author of Sarah the Priestess and Ancient Sisterhood.

Marcia Cohn Spiegel

Founder of the Alcohol/Drug Workshop and Creative Jewish Women's Alliance, co-author of the Jewish Women Awareness Guide and Women Speak to God.

Miriam Chaya
(aka Harriet Fields)

Co-producer and co-director of Timbrels & Torahs, author of The Forest Princess and Odyssey of a Jewish Woman, leader of Spiritual Eldering Seminars.

Debbie Friedman sings many of her well known songs including L'chi Lach, Mi Shebeirach, and Miriam's Song written especially for Savina Teubal and Marcia Cohn Spiegel on the occasion of their Simchat Hochmah ceremonies.

Also featured in the film are Blu Greenberg—writer, modern orthodox feminist, Rabbi Sue Levi Elwell, Rabbi Drorah Setel, and Marcia Falk—poet and Judaic scholar.
